[ ] Sync core/scalastyle-config.xml with the RAPIDS plugin file https://github.com/NVIDIA/spark-rapids/blob/branch-24.08/scalastyle-config.xml . This implies doing some changes to the scala code dropping deprecated scala-2.12 statements. This should be a good change anyway to make our migration to 2.13 easier when necessary.
Describe the bug
The repo does not have a valid formatted code style for the IDE. In order to be consistent with the RAPIDS plugin repo we need to:
