Allow users to customize DLSS presets #324

Description

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Enable DLSS on Quality
  2. Observe ghosting
  3. Change to Performance or UP
  4. Observe reduced ghosting

Alternative:

  1. Enable DLSS
  2. Load DLSSTweaks with the nvngx.dll hook + registry tweak
  3. Update DLSS to 3.7.0
  4. Force Preset E, DLSS HUD, and enable auto exposure
  5. Observe improvements (ghosting is almost entirely removed)

SUGGESTED FIX

Even disregarding ghosting issues, the ability to customize the preset per-game would be very good. It would allow project developers to optimize DLSS per the game's visual style and requirements. For example, this ghosting issue is very minimal in Portal RTX (with identical Remix installs), but shows up in quite a few other games.

To clarify, I'm talking about these presets: image

Additional Improvement Enable DLSS auto exposure by default. It massively reduces ghosting and improves visual quality.

If implemented, this should help mitigate issue #247. Some DLSS Presets ghost far less than others, and this can be configured per-game to achieve optimal visuals, just as AAA games do.
