In the asset replacement panel, I loaded a snapshot and tried to mouse click on a mesh, and it won't select the mesh. I believe this is because I categorized the texture that is on the mesh as a decal, and thus it will not allow me to select it in the snapshot. As far as I can tell, there is no way to select decal meshes in the snapshot, so adding a way to select them would be beneficial.
The screenshot below shows the rug, which I have categorized as a decal, and I am unable to select it in order to replace the asset's material.
Please describe the feature/improvement?
When a mesh that has a material that has been categorized as a decal, it becomes not selectable in the snapshot when the snapshot is loaded into RTX Remix and the user is on the asset replacement panel. Perhaps adding a feature where you can select decals optionally would assist in fixing this.
Good news, it looks like this feature was already tracked and done. This feature is currently in verification by the QA team.
It should be in the next build.
