What is the context of the feature/improvement?
I'm having a hard time finding what I want in the selection section, may I suggest a few improvements:

I would like a search function, and options to sort by category, example prims, lights, meshes, etc. Also a hide/show by category would be very useful.
What would be your solution? (optional)
