Set-Up ArcGIS Pro on GitHub Directory

Looking to have a copy of the ArcGIS Pro project in the services folder. This repository will be used as the source if any changes to ArcGIS Pro are needed

• [x] @mripp Need to install GitHub desktop on mripp user machines
• [x] @mripp Need to Clone Hydro Repository on mripp user machine
• [x] 'm_ripp' will need access to add a database connection using Database Authentication #172
• [x] @mripp Need to rename ArcGIS Pro Project and associated folders
• [x] @mripp To copy ArcGIS Pro Project files into services folder on repo
• [x] Option to have another user test connecting to this ArcGIS Pro project. This could be done my Michael or Sarah
• [ ] ArcGIS Pro Projects on the arcgis user's Desktop should be deleted

Should we also include directions in the Wiki on GitHub Desktop?

@mripp did you try installing GitHub Desktop using your credentials after we added you to the Administrators group on ent-gis this morning?

As far as I can tell, each user has to install GitHub Desktop on their own; I don't think there's an "install for everyone" option like there is with most apps.

@mmannion thanks for the reminder on what we decided. I confirm I can install it on my computer now! Just for the record I needed to have administrator privileges in order to install in

Synced repo to sql-gis and opened new Hydrologic Monitoring.aprx project that @mripp added:

• Connects to geodatabase correctly, using my own credentials (i.e. OS authentication)
• Doesn't change files when exiting Pro without saving (good for git)
