Yo, the http://cce-search.herokuapp.com/ site is down. I want to let you Jack Kerouac had a few titles show up as being in the public domain. Their literary executor says this isn't the case and I'd love to confirm. Can't report the serial numbers as the site is down. Is the project still being monitored? Anyway I can help? (I don't know code, but happy to finance a fix)

@BertholdWolpe This project is still being monitored! We deployed a new front-end for the project that will be more stable than the Heroku app (which we have plans to retire). That's at: https://cce-search.nypl.org/

@BertholdWolpe There are some Kerouac works that have registration numbers that begin with BB. Registrations that begin with BB are contributions to periodicals. At the moment, we do not have renewal information for contributions to periodicals in the search interface that @mwbenowitz mentioned. The renewals for BB* works have not yet been transcribed and parsed.

@mwbenowitz Thanks so much, I had no idea there was a new front-end. Perhaps a redirect could be set-up from the old Heroku app for any other punters like me (who were still looking at the old site with bated breath). But most importantly, it's great to know the project is still a going concern.

I would be interested to know what this means (if anything) and how to clarify/confirm a renewal status beyond a literary executor/estate providing informal assurances?
