Entry: Dasher Diary #90

Dasher is an interesting text entry method that's best shown in video. I intend to make a diary sort of thing about how a user interacts with Dasher to enter text, in the style of Hannah and the Twelve-Disk (sic) Tower of Hanoi.

In a simple version of Dasher that doesn't incorporate the predictive-text aspect and in which the letters always come at the same positions onscreen (simplifications for easier analysis), the output could look like this:

I moved my cursor down past A, B, C, D, E, F, and G to H. The letter H moved past under my cursor and an H appeared in the text box. I next moved my cursor up past G and F to E. …

Postponed to next year maybe. I have realized this will be a lot more work than I thought.
