So going into this years NaNoGenMo, the only idea I had in a notes file was "Translate a book into Toki Pona." It only has 120 words, can't be hard, right?
I found a decent dictionary, and decided to try translating the Lord's Prayer (on the Wikipedia page) using said dictionary. I realized that just an exhaustive translation of the opening line could easily hit 50,000 words (and then some, more like 350,000 words). So I picked out enough translations to hit the 50,000 word limit, and thus have The 5,000 Translations.
I'm turning this one in just in case I don't do something else this month.
