I am writing something that retells stories by Charles Dickens.
"What The Dickens"will take the text of a randomly selected book by Charles Dickens, change the names of all (or at least mos)t of the characters and then use python's NLTK toolkit to change the language used (strip out some adjectives, replace words with synonyms etc). It will then add a fictional new authors name and short introduction, slap a pretty cover on it and output it as a PDF file.
(It's a side-project while I avoid fixing formatting bugs with my main NaNoGenMo 2019 project of 'Fictionalia' :)
