If I reach the limit of 650 enemies and I go quickly to a corner (or some place where I can get none of them close) no enemy appears. Fix it so that when this happens (I reach the limit and there are no enemies on screen) the farthest enemies are erased one by one and appear close enough to the character to chase him.
