Starting from the latest version, I can't collapse Sidebery (style 1) anymore, no matter what I change in the userstyle switcher extension. #164

Well, that uh... worked lol, thanks Now all that left is to fix that suuuuuuper annoying extension buttons sticking out (I know that's an active issue here) and the weird flickering... And I'll be all satisfied!! (side note - I REALLY like the design. like, really. tysm for this.)

This is a very old problem. I've known about it since before ShyFox existed. For some reason it appears only on Windows. I don't have this jitter on Linux, and I haven't heard any complaints from Apple users. Maybe it's some architectural problem at the operating system level or implementation of Firefox engine for Windows, I don't know

Regarding the extension sticking. There are some improvements on this issue in ShyFox 4.0-alpha (details in the discussion tab). In general, due to a fundamentally new implementation of the functionality in 4.0, extension buttons either do not stick at all, or stick, but this sticking disappears when pressed. I still have a lot of work to do before the 4.0 release, but this problem will definitely be less annoying in the future

I'm very indeed waiting for that release...! Should I report the flickering to Mozilla?

To make a report to Mozilla, you need to abstract from the CSS theme and present the problem in a general way and with an easy and understandable way to reproduce it. You can't just come and say "this custom css theme has something flickering, fix it"

So, I understood It's not just something from ShyFox, can you uh... summarize it or sum? Like, I'm sure it's some specific line
