NCPA v3.0.2 doesn't work in an LVE environment #1135

We had a recent server upgrade to ncpa v3.0.2. The system is running Ubuntu 20.04 with LVE We get permissions errors with ncpa attempting to read /proc/diskstat when it's run as the default nagios user/group.

I have attempted to follow CloudLinux's instructions for excluding ncpa (using the nagios group) from lve, however it doesn't appear to matter.

What else can I try and/or provide to help solve this issue?

Have you already worked with LVE support group, since this isn't technology NCPA expressly supports?

From the description of the problem, this appears to be coming from that part of the stack.

I have not contacted them. Seeing as this is the only software that we are experiencing issues with, and since this is a new situation, as we have many other servers running LVE and older versions of NCPA that don't have issues, I concluded that it wasn't an LVE issue.
