Feature - File/Folder Monitoring

Monitor files/folders on different operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and different file systems/mount points (DFS, NFS, etc.). This could include:

checking for file/folder age
checking for create/modify times
checking for file/folder size
searching for a specific file types in a folder or pattern in the file's name
searching for a pattern in the file's contents and perhaps checking for the last "x" entries, containing this pattern/keyword
more...? :)

Some of the listed above functionality was requested by a Nagios XI user on the Nagios Support Forum.

I've got some files and folders located on a Network Share(for ex: DFS,NFS) and we wanted to check the age of the file inside a folder located on the share and alert us.

It's a 3.0 milestone. 2.4 is current version.

I know, but this is so mandatory and there is no working check for Windows. None of the checks in Exchange.nagios.com are working to check filesize under Windows (and there are hardly any because this is working with nsclient++ out of the box. This ticket is more than 3 years old...

I came to see if the 3.1 get that issue solved but I see it is still open and I can't find a mention of file/folder in the changelog.

Does the milestone changed for this?
