Feature Request: Mac OSX agent only x86 and needs to directly support ARM #966

I'm surprised this hasn't already been addressed, but clearly x86 is on the way out and the NCPA agent for OSX needs to support ARM directly, not via an emulation layer.

An ARM native client needs to be provided.

Hi @MrPippin66, thanks for reaching out on this. I don't know the details of what we're shipping for NCPA 3, but I do remember discussions that our current in-house Macintosh hardware is outdated, and that we're trying to get ARM/M1/M2 chips in-office to build this.

Hey @MrPippin66: The current NCPA v3 beta only supports Intel, but support for non-Intel Macs is planned. Updating the infrastructure for dev and testing is in progress, and we expect dev to begin in the near future.
