Warning message on startup: "Username login is broken, use Cookies to log in." #1347

Prerequisites

Description

I downloaded the newest release and imported all of my configurations correctly. Now every time I start the program, I get a red-colored message saying "Username login is broken, use Cookies to log in.", then it continues normally and logs in successfully with the saved cookie.

And yes, I followed all the instructions listed in Q3 of the readme file's usage section. I even logged out and logged back in to see if that may fix it. And yes, it was on Firefox.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start up PixivUtil2
  2. Let PixivUtil2 go through its initialization process

Expected behavior: PixivUtil2 logs in with my username and password successfully

Actual behavior: PixivUtil2 says that "Username login is broken, use Cookies to log in." and proceeds to use stored cookie values to log in instead

Log file: pixivutil.log

Versions

Using the latest version, 20240703.

Screenshot of the message, just to make sure it's clear what I'm talking about. image

Would like help with this as well. I'm using Opera GX and when I try to get the Pixiv cookie manually, Pixiv stops loading images.

MarqFJA87 commented 3 months ago

That doesn't happen to me. Pixiv works just fine, notwithstanding the error messsage described in the OP (and shown in that image I had posted above).

image This is what it shows me when I select dev tools and reload.

I also have this issue. The app is able to login to my account even though it says it's broken. I tried downloading a few galleries both in Pixiv and Fanbox and I didn't saw a difference is still weird and kinda annoying to see this message on every start.

Any idea what might be causing this issue? This started after the cloudflare issue.

This is what it shows me when I select dev tools and reload.

That sounds like a different issue. Try using other web browser (because Opera is known to break pages sometimes) and if the issue persists you should open a new issue.

The message prints regardless of your settings. Username/password logins are broken so you need to use a cookie to log in, regardless of your config settings.
