I have a washingtopost.com account. I cannot read the comments after an article. Also some of the pictures in the articles are blank. When I switch off uBlock origin, I can now read the comments. I followed all the instructions and have both ublock and nanodefender and all the necessary subscriptions.

washingtonpost.com##section div:has-text(AD) works when the placeholders do showup but there might be a better filter.

DOM elements are pretty random though

It does not work on my end. @llacb47 can you reproduce the anti adblock message? The only way to reproduce on my end is to block the https://securepubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/adx request, which is allowed by uBO-filters. If I block it the anti adblock message shows up with washingtonpost.com##+js(aopr, performance) in place. The removed filter washingtonpost.com##+js(acis, Promise.all, _0x) works for me.

@mapx- I am pretty sure what you see on your end is their paywall. washingtonpost.com##+js(aopr, performance) does indeed circumvent that and breaks some stuff in the process for example comments. We don't add filters fow paywalls, so I will revert the commit for now. https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/commit/52ab7ffc9b2176553cbb7966863a9d57c2f0de54

OK, after deleting all cookies and opening a new browser session I can reproduce. Seems like aborting the inline-script causes it but only in normal mode. Does washingtonpost.com#@#+js(acis, Promise.all, _0x) work for you too?

Of course the article shows in guest mode, the paywall only shows after you read a certain number of articles.
