Not sure if those banners can count as self-promotion.

The site that it's advertising (hackerstickers.com), has allegedly had a dead SSL certificate for the past three months, and hasn't updated its content since sometime last year.

My personal hot take on this, is that this means that those ad banners can be blocked after all, due to the risk that the banners could potentially lead to phishing, not receiving products upon purchase, or MITM credential theft, or even (if the domain expires and get bought by someone else) malware.
