install meson, ninja, java >= 11 and afl++ (at least on suse still called afl) from your repos (note that this needs clang(++) in PATH, however their llvm needs to be <= 15, using llvm16 clang will fail)
navigate to test/fuzzer/
invoke ./fuzz.sh setup (fuzz.sh has --help to show additional parameters (e.g. if you don't want to have the working directory be test/fuzzer/))
run ./fuzz.sh. After it built µTeX it should move to to fuzz various inputs and store the results in output/default/{crashes,hangs}/
This PR also carries a lot of small nullptr deref fixes that reduce the amout of crashes already.
