NanoVNA V2 Plus4 not recognized with 0.3.8 #390

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is. I have to confirm incompatibility of NanoVNA Saver 0.3.8 with V2 Plus 4. As above mentioned, with my old V2 both programs (QT and Saver 0.3.8) are working, with new V2 Plus 4 (received just few days ago) only the QT works. I see that the new COM port is assigned (in my case COM8), the QT works too, but the NanoVNA Saver DOES NOT WORK with V2 Plus4. In the NanoVNA Saver 0.3.8 the serial port window remains blank, pushing Rescan button does nothing, above-mentioned idea from OWO to write directly COM port to the window does not help too. So I am convinced, that the compatibility problem is in NanoVNA saver 0.3.8.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Connect the Plus4 to PC, verify COM port assigned.
  2. Open Nanovna Saver
  3. Push the Rescan button
  4. See error - no NanoVNA found

in the serial port control the assigned COM port should be visible with version of NanoVNA

New info - after upgrading new firmware from OWO (experimental 2021 taken from here : https://nanorfe.com/downloads/20210425/nanovna-v2-20210425-v2plus4.bin ) the V2+4 is recognized, and it is working with the Nanovna Saver 0.3.8.
