Hi Nanostring team,

Will the reference matrices be updated with more genes based on experiments from the 6,000 plex assay? If this is in development, would the 6,000-plex assay matrices allow for the identification of more granular cell types (CD4 naive vs CD4 memory, for example)? Thanks for looking into this.

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your interest in this resource. We are anticipating adding a few new 6k profiles in the coming months. However, these will complement the current set of 1k profiles instead of altering the existing profiles to include new genes. For the experiments under consideration for development into released profiles, the granularity will be fairly similar to current profiles.

Ok, thank you. Will any of the new 6k profiles be based on the pancreas?

At this point, no, but we are planning on including a set of cell profiles generated from the WTx Pancreas public data release.
