The following tests are needed to OK the latest code:
[x] Test that rescaleProfiles helps - use the lupus nephritis data. Look at umap and xy derived before and after rescaling. Look at scaling factors for sanity.
[x] Test that cohorting is improving things. Just make a figure for the manuscript: results with and without cohorting. Compare qualitatively. (This has already been done informally with all the expected results.
