remove dependency on spatialdecon #159

Calling spatialdecon creates an unnecessary extra dependency. Just copy the relevant functions over.

This dependency was from the "rescaleProfiles" function, which isn't currently getting used. I commented out all the relevant code, but didn't delete it.
