SMS notifications do not send from ICS/Galaxy Nexus #244

================================

What steps will reproduce the problem?
On my Verizon Galaxy Nexus, the application appears to not "hear" incoming SMS
messages, and thus doesn't forward them to the client.

Incoming call notifications come through, as do clipboard pushes.

What is the expected output?
SMS notifications should come through.

What do you see instead?
They don't.

Additional informations:
All incoming SMS settings were tried, none work. Deleted all data for the
application and completely re-set up from scratch, no help.

Phone model: Samsung Galaxy Nexus (i515)

The log shows the time between 23:17 and 23:39. Did an SMS arrive in this
period of time? Do you use an 3rd party SMS client like GoSMS (
http://code.google.com/p/gtalksms/issues/detail?id=203 )?

Yes, I triggered an incoming SMS during that time.

Ah, I'm running Handcent. When I switched phones, I tried the default
messaging app option which hadn't been enabled before without thinking
about it. For some reason, my search didn't bring up that issue.

I've since disabled it and expect that'll solve the problem. Thanks, and
apologies.
