OK, I won't notify you again about this release, but will get in touch when a new version is available. If you'd rather skip all updates until the next major or minor version, let me know by commenting @dependabot ignore this major version or @dependabot ignore this minor version. You can also ignore all major, minor, or patch releases for a dependency by adding an ignore condition with the desired update_types to your config file.

If you change your mind, just re-open this PR and I'll resolve any conflicts on it.

OK, I won't notify you about version 8.x.x again, unless you re-open this PR or update to a 8.x.x release yourself.

@NathanVaughn Is there any reason we are sticking to the old PHP version that is about to go out of support?

NathanVaughn commented 2 years ago

Apparently my email didn't send: It was initially an attempt to be able to build both legacy and new versions off the same Dockerfile, but I see now that Webtrees 2.1.x only supports PHP 8+, I'll drop legacy support and update PHP. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Also looking at https://webtrees.net/install/requirements/ I realize I'm mistaken, but still agree updating php makes sense now
