Uploading of geo-data for each Central Forest Reserve (or other) polygon through an agreed
procedure to include:
WGS 84 would be the one that the system would accept, and provide links to other online tools that offer transformation into other projections.
We would also need a tool for kmls to combine them, and would also require that the format is the one that the system expects (tags, etc). We need to agree a format, standards.
Coordinate upload types – designation of different coordinate set types into:
Curated data – geo-data that is directly reviewed, manipulated and validated on the system as the master record (e.g. Central Forest Reserves, Local Forest Reserves and titled land owned by the National Forestry Authority). This would be unpublished until it is published and locked; and,
Non-curated data – contextual data for which the system does not serve as the master record and which is not directly manipulable / editable on the system (e.g. GoU administrative polygons, and the boundaries of National Parks, Wildlife Reserves, Wildlife Conservation Areas and Reserved Wetlands) -> This would require the ability to "lock" layers. Is this possible with OpenLayers? Add a multi-value field with a text area, and a checkbox to say if the data is editable or not (this would require admin privilege to change the checkbox). For this we will need a widget like a paragraph or a field type. Do we need moderation states (Publish/Unpublished, and probably others)? This would be immediately published.
For the previous two upload types we would need a moderation workflow for the geo data. We will need an entity type (follow up later and create a task). There would be privileges to tackle quality control. We will need notifications for state changes.
The geo data needs a constraint to check if the polygon is within Uganda boundaries.
