Benchmarks are a means for comparing performance against a set of agreed standards or targets. The benchmarks on the system will take the form of:
Annual performance targets
These targets then can be compared with real-time performance in a dashboard
Absolute performance targets set by NFA
A table of incremental volume / ha by year from planting against which the performance of a farmer's or farmers' crops can be compared. For now these are national benchmarks, but a possibility would be to have a table for each management area if this was deemed to be necessary.
