Likely some JDK oddity that we can't control, but I'll take a look the next time I have a VM up and running with KDE.

I have same issue on my KDE Plasma 6, ArchLinux, latest Ghidra. Although, it is much more unpredictable. Sometimes, IDE editor does have icon, and when I minimize it, it also disappears from taskbar.

Having kiiiiind of the same issue? Ghidra taskbar icons are all over the place for me, honestly. For most windows there's no icon in the taskbar, sometimes for some windows the icon appears, sometimes for the same window it does not, sometimes the icon appears for tooltip windows. It's a mess lol

Running KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland, Ghidra 11.0.3, Arch Linux, kernel 6.9.6
