Issue by fPaglia Tuesday Jul 01, 2014 at 15:45 GMT Originally opened as https://github.com/MrKepzie/Natron/issues/67

I'm experiencing many different error here while loading sequences:

  1. the terminal says: Caught exception: The specified transform file '/home/francesco/Downloads/Natron_Linux_x86-64bit_v0.9.5/share/OpenColorIO-Configs/nuke-default/luts/srgb.spi1d' could not be loaded. Invalid 'From' Tag
  2. a frame sequence with a padding of 4 zeros is read like there were sparse frames (I'm shure the sequence is correct)
  3. most of the time frames are read as black (maybe for the same error reported into the console)

It is either an issue with the footage being not recognised correctly by the reader or with the usage of opencolorio. When changing OpenColorIO config, you have to restart Natron though so it takes effect

In fact I reopened in my test Natron many times.. for quickness I just reselected the same config file used in the opened instance. So no real changes made.

Previous build worked here with this setup... so maybe is an issue of the new build..

Try to remove the OCIO variable from the "Natron" startup file in your folder, or if you installed Natron edit the /usr/bin/Natron file. Open in a editor and remove the line with "export OCIO=.......".

Removed the variable, reset to default value opened and reopened Natron 100 times... no way to get it working
