(Bug): Natron fails to save the project

What were you trying to do?

Save the project.

What did you expect to happen? What happened instead?

When working on a ~15mb script, at some point, Natron will inevitably fail to save the project, e.g. Ctrl+S does not write file to disk.

No error message is shown to a user.

Current workaround is to carefully copy and paste changed parts into a new Natron instance and save from there.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

1. Open ~15mb script.
2. Work on it for half an hour.
3. Try to save, watch the file on disk.

I think this might be an issue with the Boost XML serialization, though if you can share the Natron script I'd be glad for it.

same here, Updated Natron(clean install) and no saving of projects. I can export to same directory but no project saving.

i think im experiencing this too, interestingly

• for me it happens even in a brand new empty project, with default ~/.config/INRIA/Natron.conf
• autosave still works (a file exists in ~/.local/share/INRIA/Natron/Autosaves, and when i close and reopen natron, it prompts to load the autosave; if i make a modification and wait for a bit, the autosave file is updated)
