Currently the top-level group on the search UI is hidden, because there's no way to change it in the UI (without editing the query manually). Queries with an OR or NOT top-level group (e.g. the GBIF query) are presented as if the filters are in an AND, which is confusing and inaccurate.
e.g. the GBIF query above looks like it's "only MIN specimens", whereas it's actually "everything except MIN specimens".
