Make UX more compact/user friendly

Too many options make things messy and confusing. For example in the ‘host’ section, there are way too many options which could be simplified by using NO HOST, HOST PRESENT, OTHER, and then presenting more options in a dropdown menu.

• However, this can make things slower if using the TAB-SPACEBAR method (See end of sheet).
• Some titles have far too much info in them that creates long strings of text that can be confusing to look at (example shown below). A solution would be to use question mark icons that, when clicked, show more information for the user: (Lizzy)
• This could also be of use in how to format certain inputs, EG: full stops in between initials, rather than space etc. It might be clear to some people, but this can be confusing to others.
• Collection Date boxes should be set up more intuitively – For example, Collection Date says data should entered as dd-mm-yyyy .
• Currently, there is no option to input ‘collection’ data into the app. And without a prefixed option, it can be confusing whether or not to put collection names into the collector section when the collector name is missing, or to keep it blank entirely.
