Copy data in multiple fields from one record to subsequent records #32

High priority: The ability to copy data in multiple fields from one record to subsequent records i.e. copy data forward. This would be really useful as there are often specimens from the same collecting event and this functionality would reduce repetitive data entry for these specimens in series.

The iCollections transcription had a copy&paste function - Pete Wing can provide more information about this.

Specimen and collection criteria that best supports this type of functionality: This type of functionality is most helpful when 1) specimens in the collection are grouped by certain data (most collections have a structure to their organisation); 2) the specimens are barcoded in the order that they appear in the collection (during mass digitisation we barcode in order); 3) the records are transcribed in the order that they appear in the collection i.e. barcode order (this is how the Phthiraptera collection was ordered).
