Hi Cyndy, can you give me more details on the "Agreement to EOL content partner terms"?

Is a simple link to the terms still okay? Is there a copy of these terms publicly viewable?

We will need to discuss this with the eMonocot Team at Kew about how they want to implement this.

You can see an example here: http://eol.org/content_partners/233/content_partner_agreements/125 These are generated through the registry process we try to get partners to do on our site, as Scratchpads owners may never come to EOL we want to be sure they understand what they've agreed to do to share.

Is a simple link to the terms still okay? Is there a copy of these terms publicly viewable? We don't have a generic version, as we custom generate for each partner with their name filled in. I can see if we can post a general terms for you to link to (linking should be fine)

We will need to discuss this with the eMonocot Team at Kew about how they want to implement this. Sounds good.

But in the longer term this is more general than eMonocot as I'm assuming that whatever tool might be built would apply to other Scratchpads.

Given that the content is already explicitly licensed with CC on eMonocot this may not be a big deal.

The solution for this should definitely be considered from a Scratchpads point of view, rather than from just an eMonocot Scratchpads perspective.

I have contacted Eli Sarnat regarding antkey.org for testing this from a vanilla Scratchpad.

I would suggest we test from one Scratchpad site (http://antkey.org) and one eMonocot site (http://cypripedioideae.e-monocot.org/) for now.

Eli has approved the use of http://antkey.org in testing and wants to contribute site data to EOL.

I have contact Kew regarding the use of http://cypripedioideae.e-monocot.org/

Kew are happy to use http://cypripedioideae.e-monocot.org/ as a test eMonocot site.

I have assigned this back to development (Ed).

I requested metadata/partnership details for the eMonocot sites (including Cypripedioideae) on March 11.

They delayed sending metadata until their next Content Board Meeting.

I am still awaiting their details but expect to receive them today or early next week.
