Chris, I have updated the biblio content type on your site so that the Notes field is visible for Journal Articles. You should now be able to edit the note for that node.
I have also edited and saved that node successfully. The issue is with the URL alias. I have enabled the Automatic Alias for that node, which appears to prevent the duplication issue. The node URL is now

I am trying to add a publication date to a reference in the Biblio Module (the date was originally present, but may have been lost in moving from Scratchpad 1 to Scratchpad 2. I went to the record, selected Edit, added the publication date and tried to save the change. The system would not let me save, but delivered the error message "The alias is already in use'. A further issue with the same record is a note I had on the originalon the publication date. This is visible if the user selects the XML option on the page, but I cannot find it to edit it.
