5 years ago Hi, Thanks for raising this! You can currently add an alternative name for a term under 'usage' in the taxonomy editor, but if that's not what you're looking for then would you be able to give some more detail on how you'd like to see this implemented?
Description:
In Plants for family names the code allows certain families of long usage to have alternate names. There is no provision for that in Scratchpads. Examples:
Compositae= Asteraceae Greamineae=Poaceae
both are accepted names, they are alternatives, none has precedence over the other.
