cannot delete junk users any more #6015

Description:

Previously, it was possible to get rid of fake users by clicking on "Edit" under http://lauraceae.myspecies.info/#overlay=admin/people, then on "Cancel account", then "Delete account and its content" and "Cancel account" again. That doesn't work any more. How can I remove such "users"?

Hi Jens, do you get an error when you try to do that or does it just not do anything at all?

I had been meaning to try this in my site, so just did - http://truchasmexicanas.myspecies.info/#overlay=admin/people, picked a junk user (slenderwaggish), Edit, uncheck make public, then cancel account, delete the account and its contents, watched it process, then saw it was still there. did it twice to be sure I had the description right.

We've tracked down and fixed the cause of this bug, which will be included in the next release of Scratchpads, rolling out this week. I'll update this issue once the fix is working on your Scratchpads.
