Support embeding videos in WYSIWYG editor #6277

Hi,

I have uploaded a .mp4 file on my scratchpad content but cannot display it properly on my site, instead, it gives a small broken icon, without link.

Alternatively, I have tried to embed the same video from a youtube link, but this not working either, instead, giving plain text.

Is there a possibility already to display video content in scratchpad?

Hi Kenny, I've fixed the video on this page. Unfortunately I've had to do this manually since Scratchpads doesn't have good video support. We need to do a bit more work for a long-term fix.

For developers:

[x] Need to add <video> to the allowed_html setting of the filter_html filter format for all sites (see scratchpads_tweaks install)
[ ] Need to add an "Insert video" control to the WYSIWYG editor
