Additional problem description from user:
I am glad that you are working to resolve problems with my site, the Mosquito Taxonomic Inventory. As of this writing, when I try to login to the site, notice comes up saying "The service is not available. Please try again later." Perhaps that is due to your currently working on the site. Otherwise, whether I login as a user or visit the site via the internet, the problem is the same. Select any taxon on page and you will find literature references highlighted that should be found by clicking on it. When this is done, the URL for the references is locked. If I go to literature on the main menu and choose an author from the list on the left, the publications of that author are displayed. However, If I select "Show more" authors, the extended list appears, but when I click on any one of them a notice appears saying " The service is not available. Please try again later." At the moment, these are the only problems with the site that I am aware of. Let me know if you need further information.
Additional problem description from user:
I see that the issue you put forward for the problem with accessing references in the Mosquito Taxonomic Inventory is still open. I don't know if the is helpful, but if you do a Google search, e.g., for "The mosquitoes of the Americas. Publication no. 387", the fifth item the comes up is http://mosquito-taxonomic-inventroy.info > mosquitoes..." "The Mosquitoes of the Americas". A click on the latter results in a lock symbol in the search line ("Connection is not secure") and "Not found 404.0". As I recall, the part of my site with references may have been stored on a server separate from the main part of the site. If that is correct, then the references highlighted in the taxon pages cannot be accessed because they remain in the unsecured part of the site. I apologise if this is wrong, but I thought I would mention it in case it might somehow shed light on the problem. I have had several visitors to the site ask about how they can access publications, so I am hoping the problem can be resolved soon.
