4 years ago The production build 2020-09-25 was made from this branch (with work-in-progress multi-select commented out), but not yet merged back into the master branch.
In June 2020, Max Guo of Esri Canada took over development of EBAR Reviewer
Max worked from a local source code fork. A new "max_dev" branch was created in September 2020 to incorporate Max's code in this repository.
Max worked on the following fixes and enhancements, in priority order:
Address browser compatibility and save button enabling (IE, Edge, Firefox) [done]
Rollout jquery, websocket-extensions and other updates as recommended by GitHub [done, but now out of date again]
Rollout updated French translations and language selector [tested and additional strings for translation identified, but feature not rolled out]
Insert Missing colon on Markup label [done]
Show species on Markup panel [done]
Add URI, DatasetSourceUniqueID and EORank fields to RangeMapInput popup and improve formatting/decoding of some fields [done]
Finish ecoshape multi-select, with UI changes including mode toggle and individual deselect, and integrated add/remove panel with appropriate warnings [researched and partially implemented]
Add lat/lon display to map [done]
Address occasional failed loading of large ranges [not addressed, but problem not seen lately]
In September 2020, Esri Canada exhausted the available development budget without the multi-select feature being completed. NatureServe Canada is working to secure additional funding to complete this feature later in the year.
