Feature Request #4

Hello. I have been using your fork of the client for my home mini server with playnite. The only issue is that the app does not start in full screen mode which is annoying. If I remember correctly, the old one launched in fullscreen. Can you add a option to launch it automatically in full screen? Thank you.

Hello @homestationeer Thank you for the suggestion, it was taken into account and you can download the new build here https://github.com/NawrasBukhari/YouTubeTV/releases/tag/2.4.5

Thank you for adding this. The application works great and the ad blocker is good.

I have a setup where I transformed my old gaming laptop into a portable PS5. I use it for my frequent long distance trips. I use a program called playnite to have the setup feel like a PS5 as it has gamepad support too. I added gamepad support for this app by using a program called DS4Windows and programmed the joysticks to use the arrow keys, O button for ESC Key, and X button for Enter key. It works perfectly with this app but the other platforms don't work with this method.

I think it would be nice to have something like this for other platforms (Netflix, Disney Plus, etc). There was this project but it hasn't been active for 3 years. I know that there are already apps for those platforms but not all of them are good.

If you are interested in creating similar electron apps for other platforms, it would be very beneficial for other people who build stuff like my setup (ex: pc consoles for the living room) or steam deck/rog ally users.

Also I have another minor suggestion. Could you add a option in the settings menu where you can change the user agent? This would be a very good future proof feature.

Sorry for the long response. Thank you for making this fork and implementing my suggestion.
