In the basic vision notebook (current version here), the eye cameras gradually tilt outward (see the "object_following_with_retina_images.mp4" video saved in the last cell, as attached).
This is possibly also the cause of the change in fly following behavior after @tkclam implemented RealisticVisionController -> RealisticVisionFly refactoring.
