Format of icons #2209

Hello, before update, all my icons were round and without edges, now I have a mix out of round icons and round icons with additional squared background.

Can you please provide some details to check where this problem may be coming from?

What is your current version of KISS and what was last version if you still know? What are your settings for icons under KISS Settings > User interface > Icons Maybe some screenshots to help explain the problem?

Everytime a new mix using the squares. I had no problems before last update with it

i see, what have you set for 'Hintergrundform für Symbole'?

It may be a combination of 'Erzwinge Symbolhintergrund' with square icon shape which will result in any app not having an adaptive icon to be drawn onto a white square.

Also some app icons looks different, is there an icon pack involved?

'Hintergrundform für Symbol', of course, is set to 'Rund', so round as needed ;-)

Icon pack is 'Wenrum Icon Pack', but it worked all to 100% until the few days before I got the last KISS launcher update came over the play store!!!

Looks like partly something like a masking does not work.

ah and this behaviour, sometimes squared and sometimes round, changes after seconds for each icon.

The problem is the 'Wenrum Icon Pack', looks like we cannot assume that icon packs are created without errors...

It defines 21 background images, from which only 13 exists. KISS then chooses one randomly now, if it doesn't exist it falls back to white background...

i'll try to add back some workaround for this.

I also have Kiss Launcher 3.21.0 Beta installed, I have the same problem, I add external icon packs and I find empty white square icons. I hope this Bug will be resolved before Kiss Launcher 3.21.0 becomes a stable version on the Playstore. I await a reply. Thank you
