Enable suggestions does not work. #2266

Describe the bug Switch on enable suggestions does not work for the keyboard. No suggestions appear when the option is on.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click menu button
  2. Got to KISS Settings
  3. Choose User Experiance option
  4. Switch on enable suggestions for keyboard
  5. Go back to the main page
  6. Type into the search bar
  7. No suggestions will appear unless you go and activate that feature manualy not through the launcher

Expected behavior Keyboard should suggest/autocomplete words.

Additional context The keyboard settings cannot be changed from within the settings of the launcher, and it does not ask for any permission.

What is the expected behavior here? Is this just for keyboard suggestions or does it extend to pulling suggested searches from Google?

I'd find it very useful if KISS pulled suggested searches from default search engine.
