MCM not recognized by newest version of F4SE #77

MCM isn't recognized as installed with F4SE 7.01. Popups requesting installation of MCM show up when the game tries to load, as well as pop ups for XDI after starting a conversation. Screenshot_4

The pop ups requesting MCM installation state failure of MCM dependent mods to load. MCM doesn't show up in the menu either. These pop ups request reinstallation of MCM as well as resetting said mods once MCM is installed. All mods as well as MCM are properly installed. Deleting and reinstalling MCM files is ineffective.

I was thrilled to try modding fallout and after a full day of research and cherry picking mods + understanding how to make the mods work I came to this sad conclusion... MCM doesn't load with version 0.7.2 of F4SE, and I do not know how to change my game version (yet).

Now I have a couple of questions, such as:

Would a kind soul advise me on these matters ?

  • What is the last compatible version of MCM with F4CE ?
  • What game version is compatible with both ?
  • How can I pick that specific version of Fallout and use it ?
  • Are the mods that depend on these even gonna work after

for latest NG update (1.10.984): f4se 0.7.2 and MCM 1.40 BETA 2 for old gen fo4 (1.10.163): f4se 0.6.23 and MCM 1.39

I advise you to download the latest version of the game in steam, as most of the mods are already updated for it

It worked ! Thanks, indeed many mods now work on next gen
