MCM won't show up at all #81

Using the latest versions of MCM and F4SE but nothing I have tried seems to load MCM. I have nothing in the pause menu no matter what.

Well, that's a bit vague.

I'm all for helping folks get MCM working. It's an amazingly powerful addition to any mod collection and I believe everyone deserves to have access to its awesomeness. Unfortunately, I am not omniscient. I need at least a little information to work with beyond "it don't work." 😄 So, any chance you could provide just a teensy bit more info? For instance:

What platform are you playing on (Steam, GOG, Epic, etc.)?

Do you use a mod organizer or install mods manually? If an organizer, which one?

Are you aware that MCM only appears in the Pause menu, not the main menu?

Open the game. At the main menu, click on Settings. In the lower right corner, which versions of the game and F4SE does it say are actually being loaded? (may not match what you think is installed)

Which version of MCM do you have installed? (do NOT say "the latest one")

Apologies for the vague post.

That said, answers to your questions in order....

  1. steam but launching via F4SE in Vortex dashboard.
  2. Using Vortex
  3. yes
  4. F4SE 0.7.2, game version 1.10.984.0.1

and last, but not least, I am a dumbass who apparently didn't notice the beta version and had v1.39 downloaded. I downloaded 1.40 and everything's working as it should (so far).
