Hi, I just installed this extension on my Flarum and I am looking forward for its development. As feature requests I would love to have a sidebar to track conversations between groups of users. And to have groups.

if not, can you describe in more depth your request? even with some existing chat example, if you can provide any.

or are you talking maybe of private messages (PM) like in discourse? (on my todo list already)

Neon Chat is too complex for my needs, and I find it easier to use ajax rather than websockets. I was indeed talking about the option for private messages. A global chat makes sense too. I think chat groups would be a good option too. Groups could be formed around different subjects. I think because you have already went with the global chat it could be easier to have several group chats, global groups around different subjects, it would be king of a mini forum but for chats.
