Sliding menu does not open when smartphone is in the landscape orientation #238

Smartphone: Samsung Galaxy S II Plus Browser: Default browser on Android 4.1.2

  1. Hold the device in the vertical position (portrait orientation).
  2. Open nebel.tv. As there is not enough space on such a small screen, only the symbol for the sliding menu is shown in the upper left corner (the four horizontal lines), and the logo is not. So when I tap that menu symbol, I can see the menu opened perfectly and can browse the site.
  3. Place the smartphone into the horizontal position. Both the menu bar and the fancy Nebel.TV logo are there.
  4. Tap the menu symbol, but the logo is selected altogether, and the menu does not open. The home page is refreshed and that's it. So I cannot see any other pages of the site and will have to stay on the home page for good. See the screenshots.
