I have used the automatic installation guide. " curl -sSL https://pisupp.ly/anybeaminstall | sudo bash "

1- choose the default mode 2- the reboot, the screen stays stuck on the rainbow screen and the projector is displaying the Nebra beam white screen

Heres the config.txt file:

Test

The SD card is brand new and the raspberry Pi was configured using raspberry Pi imager

What would the problem be?

I am also facing the same issue. I have configured & rebooted about 15 times and I was successful only once that too with the reddish screen with RPI logo. What could the issue be?

Note: I am using RPI 4B Model B (8GB) and Nebra in Mode 1. The Nebra HAT was shipped with one solder jumper unsoldered. The rest were soldered. I assume it was missed during manufacturing as per the images in the documentations. So, I ended bridging the solder jumper.

jdimpson commented 2 years ago

I tried raspbian 11 (bullseye) with no luck. It just displayed the white Nebra logo. Seems like the config.txt settings don't currently work in bullseye; lots of things changed, and it seems like the support for this kind of display is among them.

So i installed raspbian 10 (buster) which works for me just find.

232485 commented 2 years ago

@jdimpson I tried Raspbian 10 (Buster) as per your recommendation. The OS detects or at least enables the DPI LCD and the same can be seen the Screen Configuration. But still no image on the Nebra apart from the standard Nebra Logo.

Successful at last. Issues with solder jumper (dry solder) that came by default on-board.

shawaj commented 2 years ago

A computer USB port will probably not have enough power to power both the pi and the projector. We recommend 2.5 of 3 Amps for both

232485 commented 2 years ago

@shawaj Powering the Pi and Projector using a 5V, 3.5A power supply. That wasn't an issue. Firstly it had to do with the latest Bulls Eye OS and 2ndly the on-board Solder jumpers.

hei If not solved yet. try to uncomment all of the following lines:

# dtparam=i2c_arm=on
# dtparam=i2s=on
# dtparam=spi=on
