frozen at location verification screen

after verification of location, I receive a notification that says, Please try again, Hotspot miner is waiting to start. done this from two different helium apps, one an ios, the other from galaxy Tab A. at that point miner, all lights remain active,, except blue, but Bluetooth does not respond, cannot reconnect without restarting unit, even holding Bluetooth reset, will not function.

forgot to add tried, with both direct ethernet connection, and wifi connection, to different network router, one a cell based router, and the second router linksys, connected through a LowRan type of service.
