When will there be a 100% LHR unlock ? #536

When will there be a 100% LHR unlock ? Will it be possible at all ? Doesn't anyone know a NVIDIA developer from the crypto area who can help us ?

The LHR lock is completely useless because the cards are still bought and used for mining. There is simply more power with less performance. Too bad about the expensive and valuable electricity

It comes down to developing a video driver that bypasses the LHR limitation. I have started to move away from Nvidia and going with AMD for that same reason. Nvidia's move did not solve anything at all. If they really wanted to accomplish something, they would have crippled the cards down to only 10% of power while mining, but they can't do that because sales of their GPUs will absolutely crash. What they are doing is forcing miners to buy more cards to compensate for the lower power. Greed from Nvidia's part.

I would switch to AMD cards if they actually could produce enough of them to be available, but it seems they can't even come close to meeting demand.

I use NBminer with the removelhr @com and i have 102% from the rtx 3080 LHR GPU.

where to get the software ? Can you tell us something about it ?

Is really simple tool you just download from the website removelhr. You run it and you see the GPU to going 100% and keep there. iS working with any miner software.
